Our philosophy towards the mental game is that 90% of goaltending. Johnathan Quick recently said that in a 2015 article and Gerry Cheevers (Boston Bruins Great) said that in 1972. So if in 43 years 2 stars of their eras agree then you have to believe that the mental game is something that is and always has been the cornerstone to a goalie’s success.
I have seen many a talented goalie fail because of a poor mental game. I do not want to see that happen any more. I want to help you and your coaches better understand the mental game and be able to raise your level of performance. This journey will be one of introspection and self-reflection in addition to a tough self-assessment of where you are as a goalie.
